1 Day Mosaic Mudlark Workshop Sunday 23rd June

Are you the sort of person who comes home with pockets full of treasure from a walk on the beach or a stroll by the river? What to do with all this mudlarking bounty.......

Join me at the beautiful Dartmoor Estate Tea, near Ashburton, for a 1 day workshop learning how to create your own mosaic using "found treasure".

We will start the day with a walk around the estate and you will learn about the tea grown there from the founder, Kathryn who has been passionate about regenerative farming and all things tea related that they have established here over the last 12 years.

I will show you how to incorporate stones, shells, pottery shards, sea glass, rusty metal,  fossils and absolutely anything you consider beautiful into a hand made oak frame to create a unique and personalised piece of art to hang in your own home. 

We will then close the day with a tea ceremony where you can sample the delights of locally grown Devon tea.

Please bring your own packed lunch and treasure.

I will supply the oak frame for your piece, all the tools, instruction and adhesive needed, as well as fill in supplies of slate, pebbles and stone,  and lots of my very own collection of mudlarked treasure.
