Heron and fish on Wood

I love watching this long legged wader standing like a statue on the riverbank patiently waiting for their next meal to swim by.  Gorgeous, majestic with a touch of the pterodactyl about it.  

This heron is made from vintage china, standing on a bed of river pebbles with a milliput molded beak set on a chesnut wooden board.  Ready to hang in an inside location only and keep away from any direct heat source, like fires and radiators.
